NDI-Pekabex consortium will build warehouses with cubature of ca. 300,000 m³ in Gdynia for 315 million PLN net for PGZ

On March 10, the consortium of NDI, NDI Sopot, and Pekabex Bet signed a contract with PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, concerning the general contractorship of two industrial buildings at the investor's headquarters on Śmidowicza Street in Gdynia. It has been reported that the value of the contract is equivalent to 21% of Pekabex Group's revenue, based on the latest published annual consolidated financial report (for 2021), i.e. 315 million PLN. The investment will entail the construction of the ship hull assembly hall for the Polish Navy, with a development area of 6,000 sqm and the height of 43 m, and another building, housing the outfitting departments, with the foundation footprint area of 5,000 sqm. The contract also includes the extension and redevelopment of the quay, storage sites, and internal roads, along with the modernization of the technical infrastructure at the Naval Shipyard (Stocznia Wojenna). The works are to take 67 weeks (a little over 1 year and 1 quarter). ■
