Bzura Inter-communal Association (Związek Międzygminny Bzura) has signed a contract with Strabag concerning the contracting of the Regional Communal Waste Utilization Center (RZZOK) in Piaski Bankowe in Bielawy commune (Łódzkie Province). According to the design prepared by Inżynieria Pro Eko, the enterprise is going to include construction of two storage sites (2.6 ha in total), a sorting plant, a composting plant, technical and office buildings, with a total area of 8,800 sqm. The value of the contract will amount to nearly 61 million PLN gross.
Let us recall that the other bidders in the tender were: Limba/Ekonova (54.4 million PLN, rejected), Zakład Techniki Ochrony Środowiska Foleko (58.8 million PLN), Molewski/Segi-Eko/Inenergia (58.9 million PLN, rejected), Control Process (69.6 million PLN, rejected) and Instal Warszawa/Pribo-EPB (71.4 million PLN, rejected). ■
