Northvolt is going to build production complex with area of 57,500 sqm in Gdańsk

Northvolt Polska is trying to obtain permits for the construction of a production complex on Andruszkiewicza Street in Gdańsk. The enterprise is going to consist of the development of properties with a total area of approx. 12 ha, located on the premises of Pomorskie Centrum Inwestycyjne, at the back of the DCT terminal. The investment is going to consist of the construction, in two stages, of a complex for the assembly of power warehousing systems for electric vehicles along with a research-development center with a total area of approx. 57,500 sqm, including a hall with an area of 35,000 sqm in the first stage and 22,500 sqm in the second. The value of the investment is estimated at approx. 750 mln PLN, while employment should reach approx. 500. Works are scheduled to begin in the fall of this year. ■
